Facebook is still where the older, higher-value donors live.
Stop giving Meta the donor data.
Replace Facebook Fundraisers as your primary path with a CharityFront storefront. Page CTAs, boosted posts, Groups and Messenger all point at a page you own, with donor emails and Gift Aid captured to your database, not Meta's.

From Facebook Page to booked donation
Point the Page 'Donate' button at your CharityFront storefront instead of Facebook Fundraisers, same button placement, but you own the donor record.
Organic posts, boosted posts and Ads Manager campaigns each carry their own tracked link, so you can actually see cost per donation.
Community managers get short tracked links to drop in Groups and Messenger threads, every donation from a Group admin's link is attributed to them.
Facebook that actually converts
One donate button pinned to your Page.
Paid and organic, tracked to a pound.
Get the email, the address, and the Gift Aid declaration.
Facebook Fundraisers takes the donation but hands you a name and (sometimes) an email, no address, no Gift Aid, no re-marketing consent. CharityFront storefronts capture the full record and push it to your CRM.
- Full donor address for Gift Aid (UK) or 501(c)(3) receipts (US)
- Explicit email/SMS/WhatsApp consent stored per donor
- Ad-set-level attribution so you can drop losing creatives
- Meta Pixel + Conversions API events fired server-side
Made for the way older donors give
Facebook's donor base skews older, gives larger amounts and prefers card + PayPal. The storefront respects all three.
Storefront theme presets tuned for 50+ donors, high-contrast copy, larger amount buttons, no hidden micro-interactions.
PayPal is still where a big share of Facebook donors want to pay. Storefronts offer it alongside cards and wallets by default.
Facebook's in-app browser gets a leaner variant, no ambient animations, no third-party fonts, sub-2s load.
Supporters can spin up personal fundraising pages linked to your storefront without giving Meta the birthday-fundraiser data.
Facebook-specific questions
Do I have to shut down Facebook Fundraisers?
No. You can keep it as a secondary path (birthday fundraisers, in-post donate button) and route your own posts, boosts and Page CTA to CharityFront. Most charities see revenue rise and donor lifetime value double once they own the record.
Will this affect my Meta ads reporting?
It improves it. Storefronts fire Conversions API events server-side, so purchase conversions still register in Ads Manager, with real donation values, not just a click.
What about Gift Aid on Facebook donations?
Facebook Fundraisers doesn't collect the full address + declaration required for HMRC. A storefront does, the declaration is stored per donor and included in your Gift Aid claim export.
Can Group admins run their own fundraising?
Yes. Add them as Partners and each Group admin gets their own tracked link and dashboard, donations they source are attributed to them.

CharityFront in short
Turn your Facebook Page CTA, posts and Groups into a donation storefront, without giving up the data Meta's own fundraiser tool hides from you.
- What is CharityFront?
- CharityFront is a donation storefront and link-in-bio platform for charities. A charity gets one mobile page at chrty.link that holds its campaigns, donate buttons, Gift Aid and Zakat options, events, QR codes and supporter sign-ups, plus a dashboard that reports where each donation came from.
- Who is it for?
- Registered charities and non-profits that raise money from social media, including Muslim charities handling Zakat, Sadaqah and Waqf, and the small fundraising or digital teams who run their campaigns.
- What problem does it solve?
- One bio link cannot serve many campaigns, mobile donation forms lose donors, and charities cannot tell which post, QR code or ambassador produced a donation. CharityFront puts every campaign on one page and attributes each donation to its source.
- Why choose it over the alternatives?
- Fixed impact tiers instead of an empty amount box, Zakat, Waqf and Gift Aid handled as separate reportable funds, ambassador sub-links with their own analytics, and Stripe Connect payouts straight to the charity's own account. It also works alongside an existing donation platform rather than replacing it.
- What does it cost?
- Creating a charity account and building a storefront is free. Publishing publicly and Pro features (ambassador sub-links, shop, quick donate, advanced analytics, integrations) require a paid plan.
